100% Excellence 💪

 As a Gospel music minister Excellence is IMPORTANT 🔥, an Hundred percentage! All sides must be balanced! A good voice built on prayer and intimacy with God. Inasmuch as you build capacity in the place of prayer, you should also rehearse, train your voice, engage in vocal warm up and others that can help improve your voice. 

 As an instrumentalist also, inasmuch as you pray and tarry, you also need to learn new skills. Improve on your play and the Holy Ghost our advantage will do the rest! Yes! The Holy Ghost cannot help you when you have nothing to offer! It's not possible! You must help yourself first before He can help you 🙌🏻

As a keyboardist I discovered that everyday there's always an upgrade to playing keyboard. I discover new things. Inasmuch as I pray very well, I also create time to rehearse very well. I must have something to offer before God can breathe on it.

I led worship while playing the keyboard a certain Sunday and the key I chose wasn't comfortable at all. Yes! I'm a keyboardist but never took knowing my comfortable Key SERIOUS, I'll rather for every find a comfortable Key and minister. For different songs, I use different keys. I am not depicting that learning how to sing on all keys is bad🙏🏼 but knowing your convenient and comfortable Key is very important. The key I chose was high for me and I struggled throughout the ministration (I was ashamed).  A day after the meeting I met my MD and he was like you disgraced our worship team! The whole keyboardist don't know her comfortable Key to sing with? It was actually sad for me but I learnt my lesson✋

I remembered before the Meeting I dedicated time to pray! I tarried... And cried before God to pass a burden in my heart to men🙏🏼🥺 but when I came to deliver that burden... I couldn't properly do that because I was struggling... 

I actually made this write up due to past experience 🙌🏻.. Excellence is IMPORTANT 🔥, it shouldn't be 50/20... It should be 50/50.. give out the best. An hundred percentage 🤍❤️🖤💛💚

A SOUND TEACHER One thing I'll continue to bless God for in the life My Spiritual father is His Sound teaching and knowledge of the word of God. After our first and only class today, we (me and Neriah Theodore ) decided to go to our faculty before proceeding to the level coordinator's office. On our way, I brought up a discussion about "JAGUN JAGUN"... a Yoruba movie that some of us have watched. And then, we began to analyze this movie, I told Janny that as far it's in regards to life, I CAN NEVER BE NORMAL! EVERYTHING ABOUT LIFE IS SPIRITUAL. A mentor use to tell me that she pity people that always says, they're just living in this world and avoiding problems. They have no business with spirituality! She said as I quote " YOU CAN NEVER BE NEUTRAL! ITS EITHER YOU ARE STRONG IN THE LORD OR YOU'RE FOUND IN THE OTHER SIDE" Scripture says, be strong in the Lord! JAMB JAMMED ME

JAMB JAMMED ME You know our prayers then before finishing and leaving secondary school was "Lord JAMB will not jam me, WAEC will not wreck me"... Comon!!!! you need to see me pray these prayers with action, Strength and power... My first JAMB actually jammed me. I scored 216 but then it was not a good score to me because I had high expectations. I was so ashamed of my score that I hid it from teachers and classmates. It was just my family and close friends that knew about it. My close friend scored 190 and we both applied KADUNA STATE UNIVERSITY. Admission list came out her name was among the list but I did not see my name. I so had FAITH that I went to give testimony on behalf of my friend for the admission and I am waiting for my name on the next list. Remaining lists came out and I realized I wasn't given admission.
