AND THEY ALL RECEIVED THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY GHOST Last week I came across a video of Lawrence Oyor on Facebook and he made a statement that shook me. He said (as I paraphrase) you have a younger brother or sister or other children 8, 5,10, 12 years old around and they're not baptised in the Holy Ghost! They cannot pray in the HOLY GHOST, you're failing somewhere. They're not too small infact they're old at that stage! Do not allow the devil gain entrance to their lives and cause lots  of havoc He gave example of his younger brother some years back that said he doesn't know what it means to feel the annointing! He was so surprised... He actually goes for meeting and a lot of people are blessed .. some received Holy Ghost baptism and other testimonies, but his younger was not incorporated because he never paid attention He asked his brother to stand by the wall and to God be the glory.. while he gave this story I felt very bad! I once heard someone's statement which I felt was hilarious! He actually spoke out of folly, I could discern he doesn't know what he's saying. My Dad asked , who is his Mentor/Spiritual father? his reply was "no one and nobody, because only God can mentor me. I am mentored directly by God and not man". AFTER my dad related this to me, I asked why then is he ALWAYS coming to meet you for advise, counsel, direction and help, if he's only mentored by God?... the Truth is that he does not understand the PLACE OF A MENTOR.  Anyone who is a son of God (Male & female) is mentored by the Spirit, mentored by God. As many that are led by the SPIRIT, they are the sons of God. The Holy Ghost is our guide, help and mentor! but yet God still instituted human mentorship. THE SECRET PLACE When I first heard my Spiritual father say "he went into the closet for days" what came into my mind was he entered his wardrobe and locked himself up.. then I wondered.. what was he doing there... how did he manage to survive... how will one just lock himself up🤔 why??? smiles that was years back .. but now the word closet is no more strange to me. A closet is any private area.. a private or inner room used by women to groom and dress themselves ✨ A wardrobe is room for keeping clothes and armor safe, particularly a dressing room or walk-in closet beside a bedroom. Well it's in the Closet we enter into the secret place.. the inner chamber.. it's a place for lovers... it's designed for the groom and His bride. (the Church, you, me). I'm not speaking mysteries, the earlier definition about closet and wardrobe gives us an understanding to what am trying to pass across.. A closet is private area/place ... a closet is a secluded area where you me...

I was in a meeting years back and this music minister came up... (He was the last to minister) and when he looked around behold the Church hall that was heavily populated from the beginning of the meeting was scanty.. He then made a statement! "Only in Kaduna will this attitude happen.. people will come to minister and cannot stay to the end of the meeting! Then why accept the ministration at the first PLACE? If you have clashing ministration ... You choose one and let go the other! He said he travelled to other states for ministration and rarely see this attitude/character.. only in KADUNA" We were all happy he addressed a truth about attitudes of some individuals..  months later.. I attended another meeting.. and he was invited to minister.. he ministered Early that day!  some minutes after his ministration .. he stood up and left with his team!... I sensed  he had another ministration ... And I was disappointed! Did he say those words that other day just to impress us ...

The best gift you can give your Spiritual Parents/mentors is to grow! And growth does not come CHEAPLY, it requires a lot of HARD WORK... It requires going extra mile, going beyond what you've heard, YOU MUST PUT INTO PRACTICE!  If you must grow! You must work.... Create time to study the word.. read books.. spend time in the place of personal Fellowshipping, in PRAYING... In communing... In intimacy... Your life should bless the soul of your spiritual parents/mentors! Their efforts in pushing you to quest and go for more will not be in vain! GROWTH IS PERSONAL! GROWTH IS INTERNATIONAL! If you must grow! You must LABOUR! you must WORK  If you must put smile on the faces of your parents at large (Spiritual, biological, mentors) .. you must WORK!.. you must make sacrifices... Sacrifice your sleep! Sometimes your meal as you're led! .... You must LABOUR!.. when you grow... Your parents will smile and bless the Lord and not regret whenever they think of you... You're their rest...
