THE SECRET PLACE

When I first heard my Spiritual father say "he went into the closet for days" what came into my mind was he entered his wardrobe and locked himself up.. then I wondered.. what was he doing there... how did he manage to survive... how will one just lock himself up🤔 why??? smiles that was years back .. but now the word closet is no more strange to me.

A closet is any private area.. a private or inner room used by women to groom and dress themselves

A wardrobe is room for keeping clothes and armor safe, particularly a dressing room or walk-in closet beside a bedroom.

Well it's in the Closet we enter into the secret place.. the inner chamber.. it's a place for lovers... it's designed for the groom and His bride. (the Church, you, me). I'm not speaking mysteries, the earlier definition about closet and wardrobe gives us an understanding to what am trying to pass across.. A closet is private area/place ... a closet is a secluded area where you meet God... where you commune, where one is intimate with God... where one encounters dimensions of God. The SECRET PLACE is where God works on his Bride.... where God breaks and remold a man again.. where He chisels out unwanted characters and behaviors!

Apostle Jeremiah Garba said these words👇👇
"Our breakthrough is when He takes us into the secret place
it's in the secret we accommodate God and manifest Him. In the public place, we dispense what we've accommodated from the inner chamber
if God wants to help a man He'll take him to the secret place
serious matter are not done in the open place but the secret place... they're handle in the inner chamber"

A lot of activities takes place in the Closet... it's a place of serious personal business... The SECRET PLACE is a DWELLING PLACE not a VISITING place!
It's not a place we visit once in a while .. it's a place we  constantly, consistently and continually go to...

WHY THEN has the secret place become a visiting place???

I realised that  in this dispensation a lot of Us visit the SECRET PLACE... we don't dwell there! scripture says in PSALMS 91;1.. he that dwelleth in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the almighty.. I kept on wondering why is it now a visiting place and the highest response I got was many are too busy, that they don't even have time for themselves talk more of staying in the closet! I went further to interview some person's regarding these responses and sir Leam replied as I quote!

"How do you explain to someone to eat food daily, There is no excuse, you make time for what you PRIORITISE"

What you value is what you place first in your scale of preference❣️
if God is important to you then you must Sacrifice and create time to be with Him... yes! just like a physical relationship between two fellows (male & female) no matter how busy one is.. he/she will still create time just be be with the other... how much more God... imagine a kind of relationship where you only Communicate once in a blue moon! that relationship wouldn't last!

Your lover has patiently been waiting for His bride! go to Him..  help us Lord.. that the secret place will not be a visiting place... but rather that we'll dwell therein

Remember you must not have a closet before you enter into the CLOSET

SPIRITUALITY OF LIFE

After our first and only class today, we (me and Neriah Theodore ) decided to go to our faculty before proceeding to the level coordinator's office. On our way, I brought up a discussion about "JAGUN JAGUN"... a Yoruba movie that some of us have watched. And then, we began to analyze this movie, I told Janny that as far it's in regards to life, I CAN NEVER BE NORMAL! EVERYTHING ABOUT LIFE IS SPIRITUAL. A mentor use to tell me that she pity people that always says, they're just living in this world and avoiding problems. They have no business with spirituality! She said as I quote " YOU CAN NEVER BE NEUTRAL! ITS EITHER YOU ARE STRONG IN THE LORD OR YOU'RE FOUND IN THE OTHER SIDE" Scripture says, be strong in the Lord! JAMB JAMMED ME

JAMB JAMMED ME You know our prayers then before finishing and leaving secondary school was "Lord JAMB will not jam me, WAEC will not wreck me"... Comon!!!! you need to see me pray these prayers with action, Strength and power... My first JAMB actually jammed me. I scored 216 but then it was not a good score to me because I had high expectations. I was so ashamed of my score that I hid it from teachers and classmates. It was just my family and close friends that knew about it. My close friend scored 190 and we both applied KADUNA STATE UNIVERSITY. Admission list came out her name was among the list but I did not see my name. I so had FAITH that I went to give testimony on behalf of my friend for the admission and I am waiting for my name on the next list. Remaining lists came out and I realized I wasn't given admission.
