VALENTINE

VALENTINE RELATIONSHIP?

 HISTORICAL CONTRIBUTIONS ABOUT VALENTINE. (stories)

I did my research and discovered these: even though not much is known ABOUT the real history of Saint Valentine on whom the holiday is based, the legend of Saint Valentine has several tellings. One legend says that Saint Valentine refused to convert to peganism and was executed by Roman Emperor Claudius ll. Prior to his execution, he was able to miraculously heal the daughter of his jailer who later converted to CHRISTIANITY.  Saint Valentine was executed.

But according to others (and this is how it became affiliated with love). Saint Valentine was a Roman priest who performed weddings for soldiers forbidden to marry, because of Roman Emperors DECREE: married Soldiers did not make good WARRIOR and thus young men could not marry. Saint Valentine wore a ring with a Cupid on it (a symbol of love that helped soldiers recognize him) and in a precursor to greeting cards, he handed out paper hearts to remind Christian of their love for God.

Because of this legend, Saint Valentine became known as the patron Saint of Love. While the Saint Valentine story set the ground work for establishing the day as a holiday for love, what truly solidifies the connection between Saint Valentine and love was a poem by Medieval author Geoffrey Chaucer in 1375, which historians consider as the origin of Valentine's day, where we celebrate our romantic partnership be with one other person.

As far as anyone can tell, the Saint Valentine was martyred on February 14th 269 thus giving us the date for his eponymous day. The name Valentine comes from a Latin word meaning "STRENGTH". There are many legends about it, but it's Ultimately unclear how Valentine's day beacame associated with the tradition of EXCHANGING THE AFFECTIONATE GIFTS AND  LOVE NOTE WE CALL VALENTINE

IS VALENTINE FOR LOVER?
While popular culture makes you believe that Valentine's day is only for LOVE - struck couples, it's a day for love, and that love can be for ANYONE. Thus, all kinds of love should be celebrated; whether it is for your parents, siblings or children.

IS VALENTINE RELATIONSHIP?
When someone says you're their 'Val' they are simply choosing you as the person that they would like to show fondness to on a special day.

IS VALENTINE IN THE BIBLE?
Valentine is not in the Bible and really it has no Spiritual meaning. For us every day is Valentine, as we EXPERIENCE God's love every day.

So you now know about Valentine's day. Some people abuse it, which makes others detest the day and tag it as a dark and immoral day due to the activities that occurs on that day.

The original intent of Valentine is to celebrate Love in GENERAL... Not Relationship based, so forget about past ideologies of what Valentine is and be careful not to celebrate this day exactly the way the world does.

Infact Valentine's day will be a good day to spread the Gospel "CHRIST" TO THE WORLD.
THERE'S NOTHING BAD IN VALENTINE.

It's a day to celebrate LOVE IN GENERAL.

Happy Valentine's day in advance 🎉
